Elderflower Panna Cotta

Preparation

260 min

Start by soaking the gelatin sheets in cold water for about 5-10 minutes until soft.

Meanwhile, heat the cream in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the sugar and stir until completely dissolved.

Remove the cream from the heat and stir in the Höllinger organic elderflower syrup. The mixture should now have a fine, aromatic elderberry flavor.

Carefully squeeze out the soaked gelatine and add it to the warm cream-sugar-syrup mixture. Stir well until the gelatin is completely dissolved.

Allow the mixture to cool for a few minutes before pouring it evenly into panna cotta molds or small glasses.

Place the ramekins in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours until the panna cotta sets.

To serve, turn the panna cotta onto plates or serve directly in the glasses. Garnish with fresh berries such as raspberries, strawberries or blueberries for a colorful and fruity contrast.
