Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with baking paper.
In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, brown sugar, ground cinnamon and a pinch of salt.
Add the soft butter, the egg and the Höllinger organic ginger syrup. Process everything into a smooth dough.
Form small balls out of the dough and place them on the baking tray. Flatten each ball slightly.
Bake the cookies for about 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
After baking, let the cookies cool on a rack.
