Our juice is not filtered, but enters naturally into the pack as it is pressed from the fruit. The fruit juice expert Höllinger is known and loved for its Styrian apple juice. The beverage brand around Managing Director Gerhard Höllinger is investing heavily and expanded its apple juice tank farm in October 2021 in Styria. The 50 storage tanks can hold up to 1.8 million liters of apple juice. The investment is around 1.1 million euros. In the future, this will save transport routes and CO2-emissions.
In cooperation with Ribes Frucht & Saft KG, which is based in the idyllic village of St. Stefan ob Stainz, the Styrian apple juice is produced entirely in the region. Farmers deliver their fruits directly to the place where the entire annual quantity of apple juice is pressed during the fall harvest and stored in the new tanks until bottling.
This not only pleases Höllinger and Styrian farmers, but also the environment: thanks to the new acquisition, transport routes are massively shortened and, according to estimates, around 115 000 kilograms of CO2 are saved annually. A sustainable calculation that pays off.
